One of Martinborough’s great appeals is that it’s just far enough away from Wellington to get some distance, yet close enough to not be a hassle to get here. This makes Palliser Estate a simple, affordable venue for meetings, conferences, team-building, or weddings.

The purpose-built facility is airy and spacious with a leafy outlook onto surrounding lawns. With capacity for 25-30 people, it is air conditioned and equipped with all the modern AV equipment that you might need, including a data projector, screen and audio system.

We can offer superb catering as well. Jo, who runs the Careme Cooking Classes on the estate, can cater for your day with fresh delicious food cooked on the premises.

When you’re ready for a break, or you’ve finished for the day, you can check out our temperature-controlled wine cellar located beneath the conference room. The newly-built underground cellar houses our extensive wine library. One of Palliser’s experts can run a wine tasting session here for your group, or we can provide some post-meeting wines to try.
