Palliser Estate Chardonnay 2023

PUBLIC RELEASE DATE: 1 May 2024.

This 2023 vintage is an elegant example of New Zealand Chardonnay, full of stone fruit characteristics, minerality and complexity.

Aromas of vanilla, pecan and hazelnut. On the palate, it's creamy with an abundance of stone fruit and toasty oak spices. There's also a hint of rock salt, giving it a savoury edge, and making it the perfect match for fine New Zealand cuisine like crayfish (kōura), or a creamy risotto.

Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented in French Oak barrels, this elegant Martinborough Chardonnay is delicious now, but is crafted to improve in cool cellar conditions until 2030 and beyond.
