We make the Pencarrow Chardonnay to be an approachable “drink now” wine.

Delicate nectarine-like fruit and a little nuttiness show on bouquet
There is plenty of up-front flavor, with citrus and tropical fruits alongside the cool stonefruit notes. A robust wine on palate, the acidity becomes a feature on the finish.
This Martinborough wine is made from fruit from our Mendoza Chardonnay clone vines. It was fermented in a mixture of American and French oak barrels It remained on lees in cask for nine months.
A perfect ripening delivered grapes which have made a wine with a delicious medley of chardonnay fruit flavours.. It is a wine with good depth of flavor, texture and balance. This will be a good wine to serve with firm textured seafood’s and poultry over the next 2-3 years.
