Wines of Martinborough, NZ

Imagine this. You’ve reached the edge of the world.
You have no idea what lies beyond. And you keep going.

When Captain Cook came to New Zealand he was travelling on gut instinct. A conviction that beyond the horizon there was something great waiting. He must have really loved this place because he named our coastline Cape Palliser after his revered patron and fellow explorer Admiral Hugh Palliser.

This is now the region where we make our wine. Great wines that deliver on the promise of standing on the edge of the world and then going that little bit further.

Egmont at Palliser

We are excited to announce that from the 19th November our Cellar Door offering is to be extended to include a summer collaboration with one of the Capitals favourite restaurants, Egmont Street Eatery.

‘Egmont at Palliser’ will be serving their trademark culinary goodness inspired by the producers and food artisans of the Wairarapa, all created to match Palliser’s beautiful wines and to be enjoyed in the park-like surrounds of Palliser’s home vineyard and winery. Open five days a week (Thursday – Monday), 11am – 5pm.
