Our stylish award winning cellar door is open all year around (recent winner of the Resene Total Colour Neutrals Award). Needless to say we always have a warm welcome ready and a great selection of wines for you to taste. You might even want to take a few home with you. During Covid-19 Level 1 our wine experiences are unavailable. This includes our winery tour, barrel hall tastings and large group tastings. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
$30 per person – 50min to an hour – Journey beyond the Cellar Door and discover how our craft transforms grapes into your favourite drop! Guided by one of our team, you’re sure to learn a thing or two while tasting through our flagship range.
$55 per person – 50min to an hour – An exclusive, behind the scenes look at how our wines are crafted. Guided by one of our team, you will learn how the uniqueness of Martinborough, our philosophy, diverse vineyards, and production provide the building blocks for blending our world class wines. This experience takes you into our barrel hall where you will taste from a selection of barrels. You’ll then return to our underground cellar for a private tasting of our current release wines.

$20 per person – a private tasting of a selection of our flagship wines, hosted by one of our team.

There is a small tasting room service charge of NZ$10 for a standard tasting .

Influential Martinborough chef Jo Crabb makes food that will set your taste buds alight and, what’s more, she’s happy to share her secrets with you. So don’t just take away our wine, take away the skills to create beautiful food to go with it as well. Jo runs her Carême Cooking classes on-site in the Palliser kitchen for up to twelve people.
Opening any bottle of our wines is an event but if you’d like to share that event with us we have the perfect place – our place. Our beautiful conference room is available for meetings, conferences or small functions. It has a capacity for 25-30 people and equipped with all you need. Jo who runs Carême Cooking classes on-site is happy to offer catering for your event.
