Upcoming Events at Palliser Estate

Let's TOAST the summer season ahead - with Palliser's Start of Summer Asado, held all weekend Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November, from 10.30am - 5pm at our Martinborough Cellar Door and Kitchen.

Chef Norka Mella Munoz is firing up the asado with a South American-inspired menu including:

• Asado/BBQ Lamb with Chimichurri, salad, and flatbread (or vegetarian option)

• Choripan with Pebre (Chilean sausage and salsa in bread)

Raw Bar: Fresh oysters with Palliser Rosé mignonette, and Tora Collective kahawai ceviche with leche de tigre.

Great coffee supplied by the Revive team. Sweet treats supplied by Duck Island ice cream.

And of course, all your favourite Palliser wines by the glass or bottle.

No tickets, no bookings needed - simply turn up with your friends and whanau and chance a table or beanbag, or even BYO picnic blanket or deck chair. Let's toast to the start of summer together.

While the Toast Martinborough team takes a pause this year, we’re embracing the weekend of 15 & 16 November in our own Palliser way — and also teaming up with our friends across the village.

Start your Saturday with us for the Palliser Summer Asado — a relaxed, no-tickets-needed day on the green, with Chef Norka’s South American BBQ, a raw bar (think oysters + ceviche), live music, and your favourite Palliser wines.

Then head over to The Runholder Presents: A Boutique Festival of Wine, Gin, Food & Music — with a stellar line-up featuring Hollie Smith, the Beat Girls, and the Sweet Mix Kids, where we'll be pouring your favourite Palliser wines alongside our fellow artisan food and wine producers.

And on Sunday? We’ll be here again for an easy-going Asado Sunday Session — same great wine, fire, food and atmosphere, but with that start-of-summer, lazy Sunday energy, so you can debrief on the events the day before.
