After a two-year hiatus, Palliser Estate returns to Toast Martinborough in 2018 with a fresh new vibe. As one of NZ’s premier wine brands, their festival site will be a celebration of summer, with the fine wines you’d expect, accompanied by delicious food and great entertainment.
A new dedicated Bubbles and Rosé bar will be on offer, serving award-winning The Griffin, and new addition The Rose with fresh plump strawberries, along with their delicious rosé. Or head to the main wine marquee for the full wine range – where every varietal is an award-winner.
The food is also getting a revamp, with hot new local restaurant Union Square dishing up the goods. Spear-headed by Adam Newell – the first Michelin starred chef to be part of the festival – expect modern kiwi cuisine with a French influence and fresh seasonal produce.
Wellington’s accomplished acoustic trio A Small Victory will play Blues, Soul, Gospel and Pop in the morning, with The Satisfactions cranking it up a gear in the afternoon to keep the crowds entertained.
Topped off with stunning winery vistas and bean bags a-plenty, it’s the perfect way to kick-start your day at Toast.
