Pours a vibrant and pale pink, almost pastel. Transparent around the edges.
Crushed strawberry and raspberry, followed by a thrilling kiss of bitter cherry and red currants.
Best enjoyed in the first 3 years after vintage. Versatile with food, particularly salads, pasta, lightly spiced curries and cold meats. Goats cheese works well as does a creamy blue.
Just off-dry in style with a pleasing richness that fills the mouth, there is an abundance of fruit carried along by gentle acidity and the faintest inflection of dried sage. Lingering on the palate with deceptive weight and complexity, this is a perfect summer style of Rose with ample weight and texture.
100% Pinot Noir, Clones MV6 and Abel from our organically managed Winery Vineyard. Crushed to press on a very gentle cycle, then fermented to 7g/L residual sugar. The wine spends 2 months on lees for added complexity and texture.
