Dark, even, ruby-red colour, a little lighter on the rim.
The nose is finely presented with fragrant red berry fruit entwined with aromas of dark red florals and nutty oak nuances, and a subtle thread of dark herbs at the core. This unfolds ethereal floral and raspberry liqueur notes that build in intensity and penetration.
Serve with poultry, pork, lamb and venison dishes over the next 6+ years.
Medium-full bodied, the palate is concentrated with tightly bound flavours of sweet, rich, black cherry fruit melded with lifted oak and subtle nuances of dark herbs, whole cluster savoury elements and floral detail. The fruit is carried by very fine-grained, powdery tannin extraction and ripe acidity. This has very positive linearity and the wine carries to a sweet and succulent finish of spices, liquorice and black florals. This is an concentrated and intensely flavoured Pinot Noir with black cherry, oak, herbal and floral flavours and refined tannin extraction.
