Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues.
The nose is softly full and harmonious with aromas of white and yellow stonefruits, pears and suggestions of exotic florals and honeysuckle. This has an attractive balance and integration.
Serve with Asian cuisine over the next 3+ years.
Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has sweet and luscious fruit flavours of white and yellow stonefruits, pears, honeysuckle and exotic florals. The mouthfeel is juicy with richness and the wine is carried by a rounded line with light, lacy acidity, leading to a soft, aromatic, honied finish. This is a gently rich and luscious off-dry Pinot Gris with stonefruit, pear, floral and honied flavours on a rounded, aromatic palate.
Fruit from the Om Santi and East Base vineyards, tank-fermented to 12.5% alc. and 7 g/L RS, the wine spending 2 months on lees.
